The Gift of Giving Back
In 2024, we want to continue giving back to some of the amazing people and charities that do such wonderful work in our community.
Customers can use contactless payment to easily donate £3, £5 or £10 to Ealing Food Bank or Young Ealing Foundation.
Thank you for helping us to continue to support these amazing organisations. Find out more about their work below.
Ealing Food Bank
Founded in 2013, Ealing Foodbank is a local charity run by local people for local people. We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why we provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us. In 2022, 39,593 people accessed our service for food and advice. We are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.
Young Ealing Foundation
Deprivation is growing, and young people are the hardest hit.
Developed in response to the ongoing challenges facing the Children and Young People’s sector, the Young Ealing Foundation (YEF) brings together the public, private and voluntary sectors in Ealing to effect positive change for young people.
Set up in 2017 as an independent charity and membership organisation, YEF connects and equips grassroots youth charities, supporters and decision makers, to open up a brighter future for Ealing’s children and young people.
Their 70 members reach more than 60,000 children and young people in the London Borough of Ealing every year, but many of these vital organisations are at risk of disappearing. YEF provides expert advice and strategic support to help each member charity achieve sustainability.
No young person’s future should be limited because of social deprivation. By investing in young lives now, we can make the greatest long term impact. Your support will help rewrite the stories for thousands of lives.
