Our Clothes Swap with Love Not Landfill is back for 2024

Join our successful Clothes Swap this year

In 2023, we teamed up with the charity Love Not Landfill to host the free Clothes Swap which helps save the planet while bringing amazing finds to your wardrobe.

It led to an incredible 4,594 items being donated (saving approximately 1.2 tonnes of clothing from landfill), 3,383 items were swapped while an amazing 1,476 people got involved.

As a result, we’re thrilled to announce we’ll be regularly hosting free Clothes Swaps at Ealing Broadway in 2024. So donate, swap and join in on the following dates:

• Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th May
• Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th August
• Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th November

You can also donate all year round. Find Love Not Landfill’s two permanent clothes bank on the First Floor outside the customer toilets and in St. Saviour’s Walk.

About Love Not Landfill

£12 billion worth of clothing goes into landfill each year – and in the UK – we buy more items of clothing per person than any other country in Europe.

Ealing Broadway has been partnering with the charity Love Not Landfill since 2018 – and you’ve donated over 33 tonnes of clothing to their local clothes banks in that time. Love Not Landfill is a non-profit campaign, run by ReLondon (previously London Waste & Recycling Board) to encourage fast fashion fans to buy second-hand, swap, recycle and give to charity. They aim to encourage 16-24-year-old Londoners never to throw an unwanted item of clothing in the bin.
