From building sandcastles at Sportropolis Beach to taking part in weekly rugby skills sessions with Ealing Trailfinders and Saturday Sports Club activities, Ealing Broadway Sportropolis is bringing families together for a summer of sport, play and community fun, all FREE to enjoy.

Running throughout the summer holidays, Sportropolis will transform Ealing Broadway into a vibrant destination packed with activities designed to get children active, learning new skills and creating lasting memories with family and friends.

Sportropolis Beach at Ealing Broadway, Town Square

16 July – 4 September

Sportropolis Beach is a free community space for families to enjoy throughout the summer holidays.

Featuring a giant sandpit, sandcastle-building equipment provided by Ealing Broadway and a giant branded deck chair for family photos, it’s a place where children can play, create and spend time together while parents and carers relax and catch up with friends.

Whether it’s building the biggest sandcastle, making new friends or simply enjoying some outdoor play, Sportropolis Beach is designed to encourage creativity, imagination and fun for children of all ages.

Drop by for a quick visit or stay a little longer, Sportropolis Beach is free to enjoy and open throughout the summer as part of Ealing Broadway Sportropolis: A Summer of Fun.

Jump Serve & Sub Soccer Tables

25 July – 29 August

Take on friends and family in two exciting football-themed activities designed to test your skills and bring out your competitive side.

Jump Serve

Our freestanding football header challenge brings high-energy fun to Ealing Broadway. Challenge your friends to see who can head the highest ball and claim the title of Jump Serve Champion.

Sub Soccer Tables

Enjoy a fast-paced seated football experience where you and another player can compete head-to-head, who will be the highest scorer?

Both activities are suitable for all ages and free to enjoy.

Family Rugby Fun with Ealing Trailfinders, outside Tesco Express

Friday 31 July | Friday 7 August | Friday 14 August | Friday 21 August

Join Ealing Trailfinders at Ealing Broadway for a series of free family rugby sessions designed to get children active, build confidence and develop their rugby skills in a fun and supportive environment.

Suitable for children of all ages and abilities, each session will focus on different rugby skills and activities, giving young players the opportunity to learn something new, improve their technique and enjoy being part of a team.

As well as taking part in rugby-themed games and coaching sessions, families will have the chance to meet players from the Ealing Trailfinders men’s and women’s teams, chat with them, ask questions and hear what it’s like to play rugby at a professional level.

There will also be opportunities to meet Bella the Bear, the club’s much-loved mascot, take photos and create some special summer memories together.

Whether your child is picking up a rugby ball for the first time or already plays regularly, these sessions are all about having fun, building skills and bringing the community together through sport.

Saturday Sports Club, outside Tesco Express

Every Saturday from 25 July – 29 August | 11:00am – 4:00pm

Join us every Saturday throughout the summer holidays for our free Saturday Sports Club, a fun-filled programme designed to get children active, learn new skills and try something new.

Each session is hosted by specialist coaches, performers and activity leaders, creating a lively environment where children can watch, learn and take part together.
