Join Home-Start Ealing on Thursday 30th July, from 11.00 to 2.00pm for a free, family-friendly community event at Sportropolis Beach and discover more about the incredible work they do supporting local families across the borough.

Meet the team, get involved, share your story on the Home-Start Ealing Story Map and enjoy fun giveaways for little ones. Drop in for a few minutes or stay longer to take part in the Sandcastle Competition, everyone is welcome with prizes to be won.

Home-Start Ealing Story Map
Join us in mapping the many journeys that have shaped our community. Add a pin to show where your family comes from and help celebrate the diversity that makes Ealing a place of welcome, connection and belonging.

Conversation Jenga
Take part in Home-Start Ealing’s interactive Conversation Jenga challenge, featuring questions and prompts designed to spark conversations and bring people together.

Free Children’s Giveaways
Children visiting the stand can choose a free balloon, a fun little treat while families stop and chat with the Home-Start Ealing team.

Sportropolis Sandcastle Competition
Put your creativity to the test in our family Sandcastle Competition and see what amazing seaside creations you can build.

There are prizes to be won across three age categories:

🐚 Tiny Tide Makers (0–4 years)

🐬 Dolphin Bay Builders (5–8 years)

🌊 Coral Coast Creators (9–12 years)

The competition opens at 1.30pm, with all sandcastles to be completed by 2.00pm ready for judging by Caroline from Home-Start Ealing.

🏆 One winner will be selected from each age category, with each winner receiving a £25 Smiggle voucher.

Whether it’s a towering sandcastle, an underwater adventure or a completely unique sandy creation, we can’t wait to see what you build.

The team will be on hand throughout the event to talk about their services, share information about the charity and answer any questions about getting involved, supporting their work or volunteering in the future.
