Young Enterprise Market Day - 27th February 2010 Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre joined forces with Young enterprise London. Young enterprise London is a registered charity which provides young people with direct experience of learning to work efficiently as individuals and as team members - both crucial qualities for continuing their personal and career development as adults. The young entrepreneurs put on a great display on Saturday 27th February.
Fairtrade Market Day - 6th March On Saturday 6th March Ealing Fair-trade Group held a market day at the Centre in celebration of Fair-trade Fortnight. There were a variety of stalls selling an array of unusual products ranging from fairly traded clothes, jewellery, accessories, home wares and crafts from Africa, Asia and Latin America. The multi cultural day started at 9.30am and was officially opened by the Mayor of Ealing at 10.30am. Stephen Pound, the Labour MP for Ealing was also present at the event.
